I . Bump Integrator Unit:

Text Box: This equipment is used for measuring the unevenness & irregularities of the road surface. The MORTH has standardized the maximum level of unevenness permissible for different kind of asphaltic road surfaces. This equipment can measure the level of roughness of road surface in mm/km, and thereby helps in deciding the technique to be adopted for repair of the road.

II. Retro Reflecto Meter :

Text Box: This instrument is used for measuring reflectivity of sign boards of traffic information. On highways, the sign boards of reflective materials are installed indicating village name, distance, turnings, crossings, slopes, zigzag road etc. The reflectivity is very important aspect for night driving to avoid accidents.
